AFTER YEARS OF RENOVATION, IT IS BEING REBORN THIS SUMMER AS THE MONTESOL EXPERIMENTAL, WITH A WES ANDERSON-STYLE DECOR.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This historical place opened its doors in 1933 on Vara de Rey and was the pioneer of hotels on Ibiza. Once a meeting place for artists, singers and celebrities, the Montesol enjoyed its heyday from the 50s to the 90s. Legends as Pink Floyd or Orson Welles have visited this place classified as a site of cultural interest by UNESCO. To reimagine Montesol, she created a color palette inspired by Ayurvedic principles, dressing the rooms in printed fabrics and light wood furniture.
