It’s the end of an era for Ibiza’s soundtrack. The legendary Sa Trinxa Ibiza<\/a>, a bohemian gem on Ses Salines beach, has been forced to end its DJs sessions, those suspended moments where the beats mingled with the lapping of the waves and cocktails served with your feet in the sand. The blame lies with an old law from 2005\u2014the PRUG\u2014which formally prohibits any festive activity within the boundaries of the natural park. Parties, concerts, events\u2026 everything is affected. Even the hushed good vibes of Sa Trinxa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No more DJs in Sa Trinxa Ibiza<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On social media, the message hit like a shot of tequila that didn’t go down well: \u201cDue to circumstances beyond our control, Sa Trinxa is suspending its DJ sessions in accordance with the natural park’s regulations. However, we will continue to play music.<\/em>\u201d Translation: the atmosphere continues, but with a recorded soundtrack, far from the live groove that has made the place famous since the 1970s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
