By all accounts, Santa Gertrudis de Fruitera is one of the most beautiful villages on Ibiza. And as well as the beauty of its architecture, the village boasts the island’s most renowned interior design shops. Our curiosity led us to Siempre Ibiza, at the end of the famous central square, hidden in a typical finca.
THE TEMPLE OF GOOD TASTE
At once rustic and timeless, Iberian and international, Siempre Ibiza offers everything from lamps and scented candles to mirrors and kitchen accessories (plates, napkins and even kitchen aprons). It’s a veritable temple of good taste, enhanced by a few antique pieces (unfortunately not for sale) such as a magnificent antique gas cooker and a huge rough-hewn wooden sideboard. Virginie Biron, a Frenchwoman who fell in love with Ibiza many years ago and has been living on the island since 2019, has created a paradise for all interior design enthusiasts.
HOME DECORATOR AND WORLDWIDE DELIVERY
In fact, it is through her travels and discoveries that the founder has fuelled her boutique, finding inspiration from the four corners of the globe and bringing it back to her unique den. Here, it’s impossible to come across an item you’ve already seen in Ibiza : each piece is exclusive to the boutique. A commitment shared by Virginie’s husband, who produces his own organic olive oil called Finca Verde in the olive grove surrounding their home. And guess the only place to find it on the island : Siempre, of course.
For even greater expertise, Virginie also offers to visit you at home to design the ideal decoration for your cocoon. For tourists, you can also find all the marvels of the shop delivered to you anywhere in the world. After that, there’s only one question left to ask : how can you resist ?
